1. WARM UP indicator LED
This LED is illuminated while after switching on the
tubes are being warmed up. In normal operation
it serves as POWER LED.
2. Display
In normal operation shows either the name of the
selected input channel or frequency and RDS
information of the radio stationed it is tuned to. In
tuner mode additional information about the ope-
ration mode is shown.
3. Number keys
Using these buttons you can input a station fre-
quency or a preset number.
4. POWER
This is the main power switch for turning on and
off the device. The tuner is separated from the
mains voltage when switched off and cannot be
set into a standby state.
5. TUNING MODE
With this button you determine the functionality of
"TUNING PRESET": make them do a manual fre-
quency scan, an automatic search run or switch
between saved stations.

With this, one can switch over between stereo
and mono reception in the operating mode "FM".
It is an important option for receiving FM stations
with weak signals.
With this button the various RDS services can be
displayed on the front panel or the RDS system
can be switched off.
This button helps in switching over between recei-
ving FM stations and medium wave stations (AM).
This button is required for saving a radio frequen-
cy to one of the station presets.
With these buttons (UP, DOWN), a search run
through the frequency band can be initiated (auto-
matic, manual or through all station memory).
After pressing this button, a transmitter frequency
can be entered by using the number buttons
(3)(22), which the tuner then sets up.
