When all the juice has been extracted, switch
off and unplug the appliance.
Between use, or whenever it is necessary to
remove the lid, switch off the appliance by
moving the switch to the O position.
Caution: even when the appliance is not in use,
ensure that the switch is always in the O posi-
tion.

Do not continue using the extractor when the
residue container is full.
-
Ensure that the filter has completely stopped
before unhooking the lid release levers.
DISMANTLING AND CLEANING
-
Switch off the appliance (switch in O position).
-
Unplug from power point.
-
Remove the feeder press from the lid.
-
Unhook the two lid release levers, pulling them
gently outwards. (Fig. 4)

Remove the lid by raising the left side. (Fig. 5)

Remove the filter and residue container by
pulling upwards, and dispose of the peel.
-
Dismantle and clean the components immediately
after use to prevent the residue from drying out.
-
Wash the components in warm water and de-
tergent, using the small brush to clean the fil-
ter. Do not wash any of the components in a
dishwasher.
Do not use bleach to clean the filter.
-
If the filter becomes distorted, do not use, but
replace with an original part.
-
The filter should, however, be replaced every
2 years.

RECOMMENDATIONS
-
Start the appliance before introducing the
foodstuffs.
-
If extracting the juice from grapes, quinces,
blackcurrants gooseberries etc., the filter unit
must be cleaned after every half kilo of fruit.
-
Clean the filter each time it is necessary to
empty the juice beaker.
-
It is not possible to extract juice from bananas,
avocados, aubergines, figs or blackberries.
-
Do not leave the appliance running for long
periods without adding foodstuffs.
-
Do not push foodstuffs into the extractor with
the hands or other utensils. Use only the fee-
der press.
Take the utmost care with the filter-grater unit.
Do not use the appliance if the lid, locking de-
vices or filter-grater are damaged.
