3. Menu system

3.1 General

The menu system consists of a tree like structure and is divided up in a main
menu, various sub menus and a sealed coded menu.
In top of the tree you can find the start menu, this menu will be the default
view of the interface and will show the most basic information.

3.2 Navigation

Pushing and holding the "OK"-button for more than 5 seconds will enter
the main menu and display the first item "1". The various main categories
are then displayed with the *00 suffix (1-4), i.e. the first menu is called "1",
second "2" and so on. Pushing and holding the "Up"-button for more than 3
seconds in any menu will jump up one step in the menu tree, in this case the
display would go back to "Start display".
Navigation through the main categories is done by pushing the "up" or "dn"-
buttons. Pushing the "up"-button will step to a higher value and pushing the
"dn"-button will step to a lower value. Pushing the "up"-button at the last
EN
item will step to the first item again and pushing the "dn"-button at the first
item will step to the last item, this function is present in all menus.
Pushing the "OK" button will open the corresponding sub menu, for
example, if the display is showing "1" (main menu), pushing the "OK"-button
will enter the sub menu "101" and then pushing the "up" button will step to
"102" and so on.
Pushing "OK" at any sub-menu item will show the corresponding
parameter value. If the parameter value is read only the "OK" button will
then be lightened, if it is changeable the "OK" button light will be flashing.
A changeable value can then be changed by pressing the up or down
buttons. If up or down is pushed for more than 0,5 seconds the value shall
count continuously until the button is released. Pushing "OK" button while
a parameter value is shown will bring back the item number. Any changes
made for a changeable value will then be stored.
