BUTTON FUNCTION
ON/OFF Switching on/switching off button
C/F Single pressing the button displays
temperature in degrees Celsius, pressing
the button for the second time displays
temperature in degrees Fahrenheit,
pressing the button for the third time
returns temperature in degrees Celsius
again, etc., pressing DI button clears the
display.
DI/DE Switches between DISTANCE and
DETECTOR mode
DE/MODE Scanning for soft wood, metal, hard
wood, AC current (DI/MODE cannot be
performed)
M/FT Converts between metric and British units
(inapplicable for DE/MODE)
DI/MODE Selects the measuring mode: length,
accumulating length, area or volume (DE/
MODE cannot be performed)
RM Recalls the last stored data in memory
(DE/MODE cannot be performed)
READ Switches to measuring distance mode
(DE/MODE cannot be performed)
PUSH Pressing the ON/MODE button actuates
the probe
In DETECTOR mode DI/MODE, READ, RM and M/FT
buttons cannot be actuated
In DISTANCE mode DE/MODE and PUSH buttons cannot
be actuated
In C/F mode only DI/DE can be actuated, the rest of buttons
cannot be actuated
OPERATION
This measuring tool is radio suppressed in compliance
with EMC Directive 2004/108/EC.
This tool is designed for measuring distances, accu-
mulating lengths, widths, heights, calculating areas
and volumes, detecting "live" wires, metal, soft and
hard wood in walls, ceilings and fl oors. The measuring
tool is suitable for interior and exterior construction site
measuring, fi nishing and repair activities.

Press ON/OFF button to switch on the device and then
press MODE button to select DISTANCE mode mea-
surement.

ACCUMULATING RESULTS
In this mode upon restarting data collection, the new
data are added to the old ones.
AREA MEASUREMENT
Once the device has been switched on, press MODE
button to select measuring area/volume.
Press READ button to measure the length L, press
READ button again to measure the width W. Then the
second line of the screen will display the value of the
area.
VOLUME MEASUREMENT
Once the device has been switched on, press MODE
button to select measuring area/volume.
Press READ button to measure the length L, press
READ button again to measure the width W, press
READ button for the third time to measure the height
H. Then the second line of the screen will display the
value of the volume.
MEMORY MODE
The result of the measurements is automatically saved.
Press RM button to recall the last stored data in mem-
ory.
