Symbol Explanation

This symbol will indicate a device's compliance with all applicable ACMA regulatory arrangements
(telecommunications, radio communications, EMC and EME) ; and with applicable electrical equipment
safety requirements relevant to each state and territory in Australia.
This symbol stands for a functional earth terminal. When a audio system produces hum noise,
then connecting the earth connections between several audio devices may reduce or eliminate it.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This is no protective earth!
