5. Setting the System

Press the SET BUTTON (13). You are now in the system menu and you can set the following commands:
1. TIME FORMAT: Press SET (13) to choose the continent EURO/ASIA/US.
2. TIME: Press SET (13) to enter the menu. Use the TOGGLE SWITCH (14) to change the date and time.
Press SET (13) again to confirm the new time setting.
3. TIME LOCATION: Use the TOGGLE SWITCH (14) to choose the location of the date and time display on
your screen.
4. PIP (PICTURE-IN-PICTURE): Choose which channel window you want to set in your main viewing
channel by using the TOGGLE SWITCH (14). An example: If you want channel 1 on full screen and
have channel 4 in window, select CH4 in CH1.
5. LOST CHANNEL SKIP: When set to ON, only the active channels (channels with cameras plugged in) will
be displayed when using the auto rotating channel feature.
6. ACK BEEP: ACKNOWLEDGE BEEP. This is the beeping sound you will hear when you are pressing a
valid command button. Turn the beep off by pressing the button and by using the TOGGLE SWITCH
(14).
7. ALARM TIME: The alarm will sound for a period between 0-99 seconds when activated. To select the
alarm time press the SET BUTTON (13) and use the TOGGLE SWITCH (14) to select the number of
seconds. Selecting "0" would imply continuously alarm sound without stopping.
8. BLIND SENSITITVITY: If a camera is suddenly blinded (e.g. when a cover is placed over the camera) then
the alarm will be activated. Adjust the sensitivity of this feature from 1-15. The higher the value the
more sensitive it will be.
9. VIDEO FORMAT: Choose a video format compatible with your region. Example: choose PAL for the UK
and choose NTSC for the USA.

6. Setting the Camera

Press ◄►to select the camera to be set.
1. TITLE: You can select a title for each channel. Example: CH1= the garden, CH2= front entrance, CH3= the
garage, CH4= the store room. Use the TOGGLE SWITCH (14) to select a character (up to 10) and
press the SET BUTTON (13) to confirm. The channels are automatically preset as CH1, CH2, CH3
and CH4.
2. TITLE DISPLAY: Allows you to display the channel title display on the screen. Select "ON" or "OFF"
consequently.
3. CAMERA ENABLE: Turn off the camera image displayed on any channel by switching to "Disable". Note
that, when a camera is disabled, all its related functions will also be disabled. Thus, there will be no
alarm or motion detection function generated by a disabled camera.
4. PICTURE QUALITY: Enables the user to adjust the brightness, contrast, hue and saturation settings.
Select "DEFAULT" to return to the preset settings.
7. Setting the Motion Detection
Press ◄►to select the camera to be set.
When there is a movement on the screen, the pixels change. This activates the motion alarm.
1. SENSITIVITY: Adjust the sensitivity of the luminance level change (1-15). The higher the sensitivity value,
the easier the alarm will be triggered.
2. DETECTING AREA: When the motion detection is enabled, the detection area covers the whole screen.
Select which parts of the screen you do not want to be alarmed. Run the TOGGLE SWITCH (14) along
the cells and press the SET BUTTON (13) to select a cell. Example: Set the detection area to cover
the back door in a warehouse but not the working area around it. There are 192 cells for each camera.
