Intended Use
This Universal Charging Cable Set is a universal charging set for the Nintendo DS
PSP
®
, PSP
®
SLIM & LITE, IPOD
®
, USB MP3 Player, several GPS systems and mobile phones.
This set enables you to recharge your products both in the car (car charging adapter) and also at
home via the 230 V/AC 50 Hz power supply unit.
The system components are only approved for use in dry indoor locations.
Any use other than that described above could lead to damage to this product and involves the
risk of short circuits, fire, electric shock, etc. The safety instruction must be followed at all times.
No part of the product should be modified or reassembled.
The safety instructions are to be observed without fail!
Explanation of Symbols
The lightning symbol in a triangle is used to alert you to potential risks for
personal injury, such as electric shock.
An exclamation mark in a triangle indicates a particular risk during handling,
operation and control.
The „Hand" symbol indicates special tips and operating information.

Safety Instructions
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe
these safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for any consequen-
tial damage!
We do not assume any liability for material and personal damage caused by
improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions. The warranty
will be void in such cases.
• The power supply unit as well as the 12 V car charging adapter must not be
modified or converted, as not only the CE approval will become void but
also the warranty.
• The power supply unit and the 12 V car charging adapter must not be exposed
to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, intensive vibration, humidity or
heavy mechanical strain.
• After rapid changes in temperature, the plug-in power supply and the 12 V
charging adapter for cars require some time to adjust to the ambient tempe-
rature. Wait until the components have adjusted to the ambient temperature
before use.
• The system components are not toys and should be kept out of the reach of
children!
• The package contains small parts that can easily be swallowed!
Recommended age: from 8 years!
• Please contact qualified personnel if you are unsure about the safety or the
correct use of the product.
• Never leave the packaging material lying around unattended. Plasticfoil/bags
etc. can be dangerous playthings for children, there is a risk of suffocation.
• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, dis-
connect the device immediately and secure it against inadvertent operation.
• It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the device is visibly damaged,
- the device does not function any longer and
- the device was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long period of
time
or
- it has been subjected to considerable stress during transportation.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the
Employer's Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and
Operating Materials are to be observed.
• The system components are only intended for use in dry indoor locations.
• The power supply unit and the 12 V car charging adapter have a USB con-
nection. Do never connect it to a free USB port of your PC or laptop. The
USB port is only suitable for recharging your Nintendo DS
dable USB cable (also included in the delivery).

• Connect the USB plug of the supplied universal connection cable with the USB port of the plug-
in power supply or the 12 V car charging adapter.
• Connect the other end of the universal connection cable to your product (use corresponding
connector).
• Plug the power supply unit into a proper domestic mains socket 230 V/AC 50 Hz.
Maintenance and Cleaning
There are no parts of the system components that require maintenance. Therefore, never open
the components.
To clean the charging station, a dry, soft, clean cloth is sufficient.
Clean the charging station very carefully, otherwise you may scratch it. Do not use any aggres-
sive cleaning agents.

specialist or a specialist repair shop.

other specialists.
The power supply unit and the 12 V car charging adapter have a USB con-
nection. Never connect it to a free USB port of your PC or laptop. The USB
port is only suited for use with the universal connection cable provided.
Electrical and electronic products do not belong in the household waste!
Please dispose of the device when it is no longer of use, according to the current
statutory requirements.
