5 Warranty
The warranty period is 6 months for business
sales (business to business) and 2 years for
consumer sales (business to customer), start-
ing on the day of delivery, and subject com-
pliance with the specified handling of the HM9
series devices. This performance relates to
all significant defects of the device which are
verifiably based on material or production de-
fects.
The warranty claim is fulfilled with replacement
delivery of a fault-free device or repair of the
device free of charge, according to the discre-
tion of Merlin Technology. There is no claim to
an extended warranty period as a result. All
defects must be reported in writing promptly
after their occurrence during the warranty pe-
riod. In the process, provide an error descrip-
tion and specify the serial number of the de-
vice. Ancillary costs, such as interruptions in
operation, work time, freight or customs fees
are excluded from this performance.
