DANGER – GAS SAFETY
Liquid propane gas (LP) is flammable and dangerous if treated incorrectly. Learn about the proper-
ties of gas prior to the application of any LP gas product:
Properties of LP gas: Flammable, explosive under pressure, heavier than air, and in low areas it
will be deposited in puddles.
In its natural state, LP gas is odourless. An odorant has been added for your safety.
In direct contact with LP gas, there is a risk of frost injuries to the skin.
The gas option of this grill is solely intended for application of LP gas.
Never use a damaged LP gas cylinder.
Dented or rusty propane cylinders may be dangerous and should be inspected by your supplier
of propane gas.
CAUTION
• It is particularly important that the ventilation chamber, burners and circulating air ducts are kept
clean.
• Inspect the grill prior to each individual use.
Step 1.
Check all connections and make sure that they are safe.
Step 2. Check and clean the burner's Venturi tubes for insects and insects' nests. This is done
by removing the burner and, using a bottle brush, ensuring free passage in all tubes.
*** A blocked tube may result in a fire breaking out below the grill. ***
Step 3. Check and clean ports in the burner for the potential presence of ash.
Step 4. Do not use the grill In the event of suspected gas leakage. Shut off the burners, close
the cylinder valve and carefully check for leakage, using soapy water – the formation
of soapy bubbles will disclose any leakages. Never use open flame to locate gas
leakages. If necessary, contact your distributor or a professional HWS firm.
MISAPPLICATION
Never use the grill to heat materials and substances other than food that is recommended for
grilling.
Do not carry out any modifications of the appliance.
