DIGITAL MULTIMETER
1 INTRODUCTION
The meter is a bench type, AC power or battery operated test instrument. They
have the following measurement capabilities for applications in field servicing, on the
laboratory workbench, for the electronic hobbyist, and for home electrical service or
appliance testing and repair.
Unpacking and Inspection
Upon removing your new digital multimeter from its packing box. You should
have the following items:
1. The Digital Multimeter.
2. Test Lead set (one red and one black).
3. Operators manual.
4. Power cord.
5. Carrying Strap.

maximum reading of 1999, Extended resolution of
2999 counts in manual range mode. In the
extended resolution operating mode, readings
above 1999 are displayed with a blinking "1" most
significant digit. The blinking "1" should be
interpreted as the digit 2. The three least significant
digits display data normally.
Automatic, positive implied, negative indicated.
"1" or "-1" blinks.
