To replace the sanding plate cover proceed as follows:
Hold the sanding plate cover in one hand and with the other,
using an Allen key (supplied), loosen the centring bolt in a
clockwise direction (only 1/8 rotation!).
Use the Allen key to prevent the centring bolt from turning
and undo the sanding plate anti-clockwise.
Then press the sanding plate cover against the spring and
use snap-ring pliers to remove the circlip which connects
the sanding plate cover to the bracket.
Finally, loosen the vacuum hose carefully and then remove
the sanding plate cover.
Replacement is conducted in reverse sequence.
Do not forget the spring. All repairs should only be conducted
by an authorised service centre.
NOTE
Only use hook-and-loop sanding discs that are sui-
table for the "Spider" wall and ceiling sander.
