Solution
See the appropriate instructions in the user manual and repeat the procedure
Contact an authorised Silverline service centre for assistance
Install new batteries (see 'Installing the batteries')
Allow the device to cool. The optimal operating temperature is 0-40°C
Warm the device to the optimal operating temperature (0-40°C)
Ensure a good reflective surface is used or a target plate and
repeat the appropriate measurement procedure
The target to be measured is too reflective. Use a target plate or
do not aim at a strong light objective
Select a measurement point within the range limit (0.2-40m)
Try switching the device ON and OFF several times. If the sym-
bol is still displayed on the LCD Screen, contact your authorised
Silverline service centre for assistance
