INTRODUCTION
1.1

General description

The modular extraction hood is built up of separate components
and is to be connected to an external extraction/filtration
system. It can be used for several industrial processes, such as
(robotic) welding, grinding, cutting and gouging. The integrated
hoisting eyes enable ceiling mounting.
This manual describes the following types of hoods:
Modular extraction hood:
- single compartment
Modular extraction hood XL:
- double compartment
- triple compartment

Options and accessories

The following products can be obtained as an option and/or
accessory:

Welding strips
Flame-resistant welding strips to optimize the airflow.
Supplied per roll in dark green, orange-red, yellow-orange
and clear.

Strip bracket set

D Corner reinforcement set
To be mounted diagonally between the main frame profiles
and the legs to improve the strength of the hood
construction. Required for leg-mounted modular extraction
hoods XL.
E
Floor mounting set
Mounting plate set to fix a leg mounted modular extraction
hood to the floor.
F
Lighting fixture
Lighting fixture for 2 x 36 W fluorescent light to be mounted
inside the hood.
