• Do not use this appliance near the water (bath-tubs, washbasins, etc.) nor expose it to rain
or other humidity. Ensure hands are dry when using appliance!
• Should however the appliance fall into water, only take it out after pulling the plug. Do not
use the appliance anymore. It has to be checked by an authorized service department first.
• Never open the appliance yourself – risk of injury! Only trained experts should repair
electrical appliances. Unskilled repairs can cause considerable danger to the user.
• No warranty for any damage can be accepted if the appliance is used for improper purpose,
wrongly operated or unprofessionally repaired. In such a case, any warranty claim is void.
• The appliance is not intended to be operated or connected to an external timer or separate
remote control switch.
• Never place fingers or objects into appliance openings. Do not cover appliance opening.
• Do not use appliance near gas or electric heaters or receiver equipment.
• Place appliance on heat-resistant surface. In order to allow the air to circulate the appliance
must have at least 10 cm (30 cm above) distance from the walls from all sides. Never place
over table edges / corners.
• Never close air holes – risk of overheating!
• The appliance is not suitable for built-in installation.
• Position rotating ring correctly, it should not touch side walls. Never operate appliance
empty or with the door open.
• Never heat up frying oil or fat – risk of fire!
• Be careful of hot, rising steam when removing foods – risk of burn!
• Do not put any animals, plants, raw eggs or metal objects into the microwave. Do not use
to dry textiles.
• Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents / chemicals, adhesive material which make the
appliance permeable. Appliance must always be completely sealed.
• The appliance should be cleaned regularly and all food residue removed. Do not use a
steam cleaner. Caution! Disconnect from mains before cleaning every time.
Disposal
• Make worn out appliances unusable. Pull out the mains plug and sever the cord. Electric
appliances are to be returned to a shop of sale or handed over to an official dump. No
household waste. Must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
