Power consumption limitation level (step 1) via the external
control adaptor (DTA104A61/62)
If the system needs to run under power consumption limita-
tion conditions when an external signal is sent to the unit,
this setting defines the level power consumption limitation
that will be applied for step 1. The level is according to the
table.
Default value=3.

[2-32]= Forced, all time, power consumption limitation operation
(no external control adaptor is required to perform power
consumption limitation)
If the system always needs to run under power consump-
tion limitation conditions, this setting activates and defines
the level power consumption limitation that will be applied
continuously. The level is according to the table.

Indoor unit fan tap setting
Indoor units fan speed limitation related to connection ca-
pacity and outdoor air temperature for energy saving.
Default value=0.
Value
Indoor unit fan tap setting
[2-34]
Fan speed is limited to L tap when indoor units
0
capacity ≥ 130%.
In heating mode, fan speed is limited to L tap
1
when indoor units capacity ≥ 130%.
Fan speed follows the setting of remote controllers
2
(not limited by indoor units connection capacity).
Fan speed is limited to L tap when outdoor air
temperature goes down to below 85.1°F (29.5°C)
and indoor air temperature is in condition A (*). It
3
returns to remote controller setting when outdoor
air temperature goes up to over 90.5°F (32.5°C)
or indoor air temperature is in condition B (**).
Fan speed is limited to L tap when outdoor air
temperature goes down to below 74.3°F (23.5°C)
and indoor air temperature is in condition A (*). It
4
returns to remote controller setting when outdoor
air temperature goes up to over 79.7°F (26.5°C)
or indoor air temperature is in condition B (**).
Fan speed is limited to L tap when outdoor air
temperature goes down to below 66.7°F (19.3°C)
and indoor air temperature is in condition A (*). It
5
returns to remote controller setting when outdoor
air temperature goes up to over 72.1°F (22.3°C)
or indoor air temperature is in condition B (**).
Fan speed is limited to L tap when outdoor air tem-
perature goes down to below 85.1°F (29.5°C). It
6
returns to remote controller setting when outdoor
air temperature goes up to over 90.5°F (32.5°C).
Fan speed is limited to L tap when outdoor air tem-
perature goes down to below 74.3°F (23.5°C). It
7
returns to remote controller setting when outdoor
air temperature goes up to over 79.7°F (26.5°C).
Fan speed is limited to L tap when outdoor air tem-
perature goes down to below 66.7°F (19.3°C). It
8
returns to remote controller setting when outdoor
air temperature goes up to over 72.1°F (22.3°C).
* Indoor condition A: Temperature difference (indoor air
temperature – set temperature) is more than –2.7°F
(–1.5°C) and less than 5.4°F (3°C).
** Indoor condition B: Temperature difference (indoor air
temperature – set temperature) is –2.7°F (–1.5°C) or less,
or 5.4°F (3°C) or more.
