The battery module may only be charged in a temperature range of 0 – 45 °C�
• It is not allowed to carry spare battery packs into the hazardous areas�
• The battery module may only be charged outside the hazardous area�
• It is only allowed to use approved chargers, refer to clause 6�2�
• The data transfer is only allowed outside the hazardous area�
• Only use approved accessories for the data transfer refer to clause 6�2�
• Only accessories approved by ecom instruments GmbH may be used, refer to clause 6�

• It must be ensured that the device is not taken into zones 0,1,20 or 21�
5.1 Electrostatic Charge Requirements for Safe use
• The unit must not be used in close proximity to processes generating high charges�
• The unit is electrostatically safe for IIB and IIIB explosive hazardous areas�
• In hazardous areas including IIC Gases it is only allowed to clean the unit with
damp cloth�
