his section explains how to calibrate
the Expression and Volume pedals
and how to select a Volume pedal
response curve.
Calibrating the Pedals
If you can't achieve the maximum or mini-
mum effect when the VC-12's Expression
pedal or Volume pedal is fully up or down, the
pedal may need calibrating.
Note: Since it's not usually possible to
accurately calibrate the pedals by using your
feet, use your hands for this procedure.
Calibrating the Expression Pedal
1. Make sure that the connected device is
off.
2. While holding down the VC-12 switch #3
and the CHANNEL–FX ON/OFF switch,
turn on the connected device.

press the heel of the Expression pedal
to bring it up. When it's up as far as it'll
go, take your hand off.
4. Press the TAP switch to enter the mini-
mum position.

point, press the RECALL switch.
6. Press the TAP switch to enter the maxi-
mum position.

If for some reason the calibration process
didn't work,

Note: If the calibration process fails repeat-
edly, the VC-12 may be in need of repair and
you should contact your VOX dealer.
