Plumbing hook-ups

Connect up the cold water pipe and the output
pipe to the relevant hook-ups. Use hoses with
valves (Fig. 7).
The table below shows the measurements of the
connectors in inches.

NOTE: the system installer should install
the light, 7 bar, standard safety valve
supplied on the cold water inlet (Fig. 9).

NOTE: the overpressure device must be
operated regularly, at least every 30
days, to remove limescale and ensure
that it is not blocked. Install an
expansion vessel on the domestic hot
water inlet (Fig. 6)
NOTE: the outlet pipe connected to the
overpressure device must be installed
at a downwards angle and in a place
that is protected from the formation of
ice (Fig. 8)
NOTE: connect a rubber hose to the
condensate outlet, taking care not to
force it and break the outlet pipe itself

Connecting the condensate outlet

The condensate that forms while the heat pump is
in operation flows through a purpose-built outlet
pipe (½") that passes inside the insulating casing
and emerges at the bottom of the appliance (Fig.
7).
This should be connected to a duct so that the
condensate can flow as it should (see installation
examples a and b).
