heating side according to DIN EN 14336. Carry out the
leak test on the potable water side according to DIN
EN 806-4.
6. Commissioning
To commission the system, it must be flushed, filled and
bled. Observe the permissible operating pressures.
Proceed as follows during commissioning:
Flush the potable water side of the potable water storage
cylinder according to DIN EN 806-4.
Fill the potable water side of the potable water storage
cylinder.
1
Slowly open the cold water inlet of the potable water
storage cylinder.
2
Bleed the potable water storage cylinder at the
individual draw off points of the installation.
Fill the heating side of the potable water storage cylinder.
1
Slowly open the inlet of the heating water supply until
the heating side of the potable water storage cylinder
is filled.
2
Bleed the complete heating system.
3
Put the heating system into operation and set the
nominal temperature.
4
After initial heating-up, check the torque of the flange
screws (17 -18 Nm). Retighten the flange screws if
necessary.

Maintenance

7.1

Anode

The average service life of an anode (see Fig. 1 on page
19 (3)) is 2-3 years.
Replace the anode when the diameter reduces to 1/3 of
the original diameter. Refer to the technical data (see
section 3.3 on page 22) for the original diameter.
To replace the anode, proceed as follows:
1
Loosen the external coupling of the anode at the
potable water storage cylinder housing.
2
Remove the anode from the potable water storage
cylinder.
3
Fit the new anode to the potable water storage
cylinder.
4
Tighten the coupling at the potable water storage
cylinder.
