WARNING
Electric shock hazard can cause injury or death.
Before attempting to perform any service or maintenance on
the unit, turn OFF the electrical power, and check that the fan
has stopped.
FILTER CLEANING
Check the air filter and make sure it is not
blocked with dustor dirt.
If the filter is dirty, wash it in a bowl with
neutral soap and water, drying it in the shade
before inserting it in the unit.

INSTALLATION TO THE CEILING
The unit should be positioned centrally within the room, ensure that
the unit is on level. The unit must be installed in a position where
there is sufficient strength in the structure to support the weight of
the unit. When positioning the appliance, make sure the air intakes
are free from obstructions.
The false ceiling must have at least a height of (fig. 1):
- KRS (W) 1 = 310 mm (min.)
- KRS (W) 2 = 345 mm (min.)
Ensure there is sufficient space around the unit to service it. Where
there is a false ceiling ensure that there is enough space to provide
access (fig. 2).
Where there is a false panelled ceiling, ensure that there is sufficient
space adjacent to remove the panels.
Cut the false ceiling to:
KRS (W) 1 - minimun : 590 x 590 mm - maximum : 630 x 630 mm.
KRS (W) 2 - minimun : 840 x 840 mm - maximum : 900 x 900 mm.
Cassette fixing:
The fan-coil unit is fixed to the structural ceiling by means of
threaded rods to be provided by others.
Procedure:
• The hole positions in the structural ceiling must first be marked by
reference to the two opposite sides of the cutout in the suspended
ceiling and the holes for the threaded rods must then be drilled (fig. 3).
NOTE: Before marking the fixing points to the ceiling, ensure that
the unit is positioned in the correct orientation taking into account
of where the electrical cabinet and refrigerant connections are
required. When the unit is fixed it is not easy to change position.
• The threaded rods must then be fixed in the ceiling. The length
of the rods depends on the clearance between the suspended
ceiling and the structural ceiling.
• The fan-coil unit is then tilted and pushed through the cutout with
the terminal box on top and then placed level over the cutout (fig. 5).
• The hooks on the brackets allow a quick temporary installation.
Following positioning, the brackets must be attached to the
appliance walls by means of tapping screws.
• The appliance must then be fixed to the threaded rods (fig. 6).
It is essential for the appliance to be exactly level. The unit can be
installed using any other method considered appropriate by the
installer, providing it is in accordance with current legislation.

AVERTISSEMENT

entretien ou maintenance, il est impératif de couper l'alimentation
électrique et de s'assurer que le ventilateur ne tourne plus.
NETTOYAGE DU FILTRE
Inspecter le filtre à air pour s'assurer qu'il n'est
pas obstrué par de la saleté ou de la poussière.
Si le filtre est encrassé, le nettoyer dans une
cuvette avec de l'eau et un savon neutre,
le sécher à l'ombre avant de le remettre en
place dans l'unité.

INSTALLATION AU PLAFOND
L'unité doit être disposée au centre de la pièce, en s'assurant
qu'elle soit de niveau L'unité doit être fixée sur une structure de
résistance suffisante pour supporter le poids de l'unité. Installer
l'appareil dans une position n'empêchant pas l'aspiration de l'air.
La hauteur du faux-plafond doit être d'au moins (fig. 1) :
- KRS (W) 1 = 310 mm (min.)
- KRS (W) 2 = 345 mm (min.)
S'assurer que l'espace libre autour de l'unité est suffisant pour
pouvoir effectuer son entretien (fig. 2).
En cas de faux-plafond modulaire, s'assurer que l'espace est
suffisant pour déposer les panneaux de faux-plafond.
La découpe du faux plafond doit être :
KRS (W) 1 - minimun : 590 x 590 mm - maximum : 630 x 630 mm.
KRS (W) 2 - minimun : 840 x 840 mm - maximum : 900 x 900 mm.
Fixation de la cassette :
La cassette est fixée au plafond structural au moyen de barres
filetées, non fournies.
Procédure :
• Marquer les positions des trous dans le plafond structural aux
deux côtés opposés de l'ouverture pratiquée dans le plafond
technique puis pratiquer les trous pour les barres filetées (les
dimensions sont indiquées dans les dessins à côté) (fig. 3).
NOTA : Avant de marquer les points de fixation au plafond, s'assurer
de l'orientation correcte de l'unité, compte tenu de la position du
raccordement au coffret électrique et du réfrigérant.
Lorsque l'unité est fixée, il est difficile de modifier sa position.
• Fixer les barres filetées au plafond. La longueur des barres dépend
de l'espace entre le plafond technique et le plafond structural.
• Incliner la cassette, la pousser à travers l'ouverture, bornier vers le
haut, puis la placer en position horizontale au-dessus de l'ouverture
(fig. 5).
• Les crochets sur les étriers permettent d'installer provisoirement
l'appareil.
• Fixer ensuite l'appareil aux barres filetées (fig. 6).
Il est impératif que l'appareil soit en position parfaitement
horizontale.
L'installeur pourra installer l'appareil avec n'importe quel autre
moyen jugé approprié, à condition qu'il soit conforme aux normes
en vigueur.
