Mounting
When choosing the mounting location of your safe, please avoid direct sunlight, vibrations, dust, heat, cold and
humidity. Do not locate it next to strong transformers or engines. The safe must be screwed on to be safe against
theft.
If you put down the safe temporarily, take care that the surface is stable and plain.
A falling down might cause sever injuries.
For mounting, it is absolutely necessary to use appropriate mounting material for the mounting surface.
The supplied bolts are suited for most mounting situations.
Optionally, the safe may also be inserted into a wall. In this case, additional screwing, as described below, is
required.
Please observe the safety instructions of the tool manufacturers when using tools for mounting your safe.
The safe can be attached at the back side or the underside.
Draw the required fastening holes on the mounting surface.
For this purpose, hold the safe up against the selected mounting site and have the bore holes drawn by a second person.
Bore the holes and insert the plugs. Use all four holes in the safe for attaching it.
When using the attached bolts, a hole diameter of 8mm is required.
Now attach the safe to the screw necks reaching out of the mounting surface.
Tighten the screws firmly.

Inserting the batteries
Keep batteries out of children's reach.
Observe the correct polarity when inserting the battery.
Remove the batteries in case the device has not been used for a longer time.
Leaking or damaged batteries may cause burns in case of contact with the skin; please use suitable safety
gloves for this purpose.
Please take care that the batteries will neither be short-circuited nor thrown into fire. Nor must they be
recharged. Explosion hazard.
Operation
Always keep the keys outside the safe at a safe place!
Change the combination, note it and keep it at a safe place, too.
The safe can be opened with the attached keys or by a combination.
Maintenance
Clean the outside of the safe only with a soft, dry or slightly wet cloth. Never use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions,
as this might damage the surface of the housing.
Check the technical safety of the product regularly, e.g. on damages of the housing or operating keyboard.
If there is reason to believe that safe operation is no longer possible, the device must be switched off immediately and secured
against unintentional operation. Remove batteries.
There is reason to believe that safe operation is no longer possible, if:
there is visible damage to the device
the device does not work anymore
after longer storage under unfavourable conditions or after severe strains of transportation
