You as consumer are legally bound (battery regulation) to return any used batteries and accumulators; their disposal with
household refuse is not allowed.
Batteries/accumulators containing haz ardous substances are marked by the stated symbols indicating the
prohibition of disposing with household refuse.
The designation for the decisive heavy metal is:
Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead You can deliver your used up batteries/accumulators free of charge
to the collection sites of your community, our branches or wherever batteries/accumulators are sold!
You will thus ful l the legal requirements and m ake your contribution to environmental protection!
