Starting the generator
Prior to connecting the generator to the electrical supply, ensure that all connections have been removed from the gas outlets on the rear of
the generator.
On G4 models, the integral mass flow controller (MFC) must be configured so that the gas is directed to the N
will not reach purity if the gas flows to atmosphere through the N
outlet and leave it in the open position.

Remove the side panel from the generator.
The Mass Flow Controller (MFC) and bypass valve assembly is located
directly behind the N

Rotate the bypass valve handle to the desired position as shown:
Position (A) directs the gas through the MFC to the N2 MFC outlet.
Position (B) directs the gas directly to the N2 outlet therefore bypassing
the MFC.

Replace the side panel of the generator.
