6. Installation of the façade panel
6.1
Before lowering the component, mark the central axes of the
anchoring elements on the top edge of the panel. While lowering
the panel, visually check whether the dowel correctly slides into
the anchoring element!

Filling the anchorage elements
6.1
The upper and lower anchoring
elements are fi lled with grout
prior to installation.
Specifi cations for the grout see
table page 11.
Insert the dowel, install the

panel and adjust.
Insert the dowel into the

sleeves of the façade panel
suspended from the crane.
The inner diameter of the
sleeve is designed to hold
the dowel fi rmly in place.
While the panel is being
lowered into position the
dowels are inserted into the
anchoring elements in the
previously installed lower
panel.
Ensure that the dowels slide

into the anchoring elements
correctly; avoid contact with
the lower concrete slab to
prevent any damage (spalling).
The panel is subsequently
adjusted.
Caution, risk of injury!
NEVER put your hand
UNDER a suspended
precast panel!
Securing the panel position
6.3
The panel must be secured in
position until the grout has com-
pletely hardened (e.g. using
wooden wedges between the
precast panel elements and the
main structure or by using an
ancillary aid in the horizontal
joint).
Observe manufacturer's
information on proces-
sing and curing times for
the grout.
