Troubleshooting
• No electric pulse?
Check the fencer;
Check the batteries.
• Still no electric pulse?
Check the connections, is there a fault some-
where? If so, repair by tying the wire into a knot.
• Is there too much vegetation touching the live
wire?
Remove it and repeat the test.

Inform your family and neighbours that you have
installed an Elephant fence and explain to them
how it works.
Instruct everyone concerned on how to turn off the
Elephant HelioKit HS10 in case of an emergency.
To ensure proper functioning, the Elephant
HelioKit HS10 must be connected to the included
galvanised earthing pin. Check local regulations
regarding electric fences as a permit may be
required for the installation and/or use of an electric
fence.
Never use electric cables used in houses as this is
unsuitable and will not function.
Risk of electric shock: never connect any other
electrical device to your electric fence. Should
lightning strike your fence it could potentially be
diverted to all other electrical equipment.

Warranty
If the device does not function properly, you
can return it to Elephant for warranty claims or
repair. 1 year warranty period (by proper use in
compliance with warranty conditions).
