Installation
Other items
The following additional items are required for installing
the stationary base frame 6430/7:
R
Hammer drill
R
Concrete drill bit (dia. 6, dia. 8)
R
Spirit level (1 mm accuracy)
R
Measuring tape
R
Set of Allen keys
R
10 mm box wrench

As they are fixed to the workshop floor, the rails
represent a greater tripping hazard.
1. Align the base frame as specified.
2. Pre-drill the left side (refer to hole pattern) to dia. 6.
3. Enlarge the pre-drilled side to dia. 8.
4. Fit the connectors as specified by the manufacturer.
5. Screw on the rail hand-tight.
6. Slide the base frame to the first drilling location.
7. Perform items 2–5 for the right side.
Check freedom of movement.
8. Perform diagonal and vertical levelling until the
tolerance range is attained.

When pre-drilling, the base frame has to be moved to
the corresponding drilling location.

1 End stop
Re-positioning end stop
1. Remove the cap.
2. Screw out the cheese head bolt.
3. Screw in the cheese head bolt with packing plate.
