Operation
WARNING: Always wear safety glasses when using this tool.
• This tool can be used to permanently mark metal, glass, plastic, wood, ceramics and other
materials
• It can be used with artistic templates by printing out the design at the required size on thin paper
and securely attaching the template to the surface to be engraved then carefully working around
the design to replicate it
• Also suitable for removal of tile grout
1. Connect the tool to the power supply
2. Select the required depth setting with the Stroke Adjustment Dial (3)
3. Holding the tool firmly, press 'I' on the On/Off Switch (4) to switch on
4. Hold the tool at an angle in one hand, as you would hold a pen
5. Using light pressure, guide the tip over the work to be completed
6. To turn the tool off, press 'O' on the On/Off switch
Maintenance
WARNING: Always disconnect from power supply before carrying out any maintenance/cleaning.
Cleaning
• Keep your tool clean at all times. Dirt and dust will cause internal parts to wear quickly, and
shorten the machine's service life. Clean the body of your machine with a soft brush, or dry cloth.
If available, use clean, dry, compressed air to blow through the ventilation holes
Storage
• Store this tool carefully in a secure, dry place out of the reach of children
Disposal
Always adhere to national regulations when disposing of power tools that are no longer functional
and are not viable for repair.
• Do not dispose of power tools, or other waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), with
household waste
• Contact your local waste disposal authority for information on the correct way to dispose of power
tools
