1. Introduction
We are pleased with your decision to purchase
a Renfert deflasking chisel.
Renfert deflasking chisels are maintenance-
free, durable devices with long service lives.
Please read the following operating
instructions carefully and observe
all the information they contain in
order to ensure long and trouble-free
service.
These operating instructions must
always be available at the workplace.
2. Application Area
The Renfert deflasking chisel is a pneumatically
powered chisel for deflasking acrylic dentures
or cast objects in dental technology operations.
Important:
Pressed ceramics invested in muf-
fles or metal framework over-pressed
by ceramics must never be deflasked
by a deflasking chisel as they could
be damaged by the agitation.
Compressed air is employed to oscillate the
rotary piston. The impact of the rotary piston
on the installed chisel transfers energy which is
used to deflask.
Only compressed air may be employed to
power the unit.
