UPS400N & UPS600N – UNINTERRUPTABLE POWER SUPPLY
1. Introduction
The UPS400N and the UPS600N have a wide input voltage range and are equipped with a cold-start function to allow startup in case of a
blackout.
1) main switch (including cold-start function)

Note that the necessary cables and software are included.
2. Installation and Operation
Make sure the device was not damaged in transit. Notify your dealer immediately in case of damage. Keep the original packaging material
for possible future use.
1) Connect the power cord to a grounded receptacle.
2) Charge the batteries for ten hours prior to use. The UPS will recharge the batteries automatically whenever its power cord is plugged into
a wall outlet. You may use the UPS immediately without recharging, but the backup time will be less than the rated period.
3) Connect the power cord of your computer equipment to the output receptacles of the UPS.
4) Switch on the computer equipment. Press the front panel switch to activate the UPS. The LED will light and the UPS is now ON.
5) Unplug the power cord of the UPS to test the backup function. The power LED of the UPS wll light intermittenly and the alarm will sound
every 2 seconds.
3. Storage
For storage in moderate climates : plug the power cord into a wall receptacle for 12 hours every 3 months to recharge the batteries. Repeat
this procedure every 2 months in warmer climates.
4. Troubleshooting
In case of trouble you should check the wall receptacle and verify whether the AC voltage is inside the limit values.

Possible Cause
1. blown AC fuse
2. power cord is loose
3. main switch is not ON
1. battery is not full charged
2. battery is out of order
3. charger is defective

Solution
1. replace AC fuse with identical one
2. connect AC power cord to wall
receptacle properly
3. press the main switch
Please recharge the battery for at least 6
hours. Contact your dealer if the problem
persists.
