The vehicle becomes slower or the steering servo responds slowly or not at all; the range between the
transmitter and the vehicle is very short
• The drive battery is weak or depleted.
• The power supply to the receiver/control unit comes via a built-in BEC directly from the drive battery. A weak or
depleted drive battery will, therefore, cause the receiver/control unit to stop working correctly.
• Replace the drive battery with a fully charged drive battery (before inserting a new drive battery, wait at least 5 - 10
minutes so that the motor and electronic system in the vehicle can cool sufficiently).
• Check the batteries in the transmitter.
The vehicle does not steer properly or the steering angle is too low
• Check the steering mechanics for loose parts or damage.
• Check whether e.g. leaves or stones are impairing the function of the steering mechanics.
The driving time is very short
• Charge the drive battery or use a new, fully charged drive battery.
The drive battery becomes hot during charging and when driving the vehicle
• This is normal.
