• Do not store or mix the gasoline near a fire or device, which uses a pilot light or sparks, such
as a heater, furnace, water heater, or other.
Gasoline is highly inflammable so that, if its vapor explodes, it could cause a fire or fatal
accident.
• Before replenishing fuel, always stop the engine and allow the engine to cool completely.
Confirm also that no fire, including lighted cigarette, is used nearby, and replenish fuel at a
well-ventilated place. There is a risk of fire or explosion.
• Take care not to leak fuel during replenishment. Tighten the fuel tank cap sufficiently to
contain fuel from overflow. When it leaked, clean completely spilled oil with wet waste, and
dry cleaned sections sufficiently before starting the engine. Discard waste wetted with fuel
with care to prevent fire. Improper disposition of such could cause risk of fire or explosion.
• When the clothing is wetted with spilled fuel, replace it immediately. There is a risk of burn
or fire if it is ignited.
• When fuel smells in the air, check for leaked oil and no combustible matters such as fuel or
gasoline is placed nearby. Start operation only after the smell of fuel is gone. There is a risk
of fire or explosion.
• Do not let the engine alone in a vehicle or trunk. Fire or explosion could result from
evaporated fuel.
• Do not start or run your unit at poorly ventilated places, such as indoors, in a warehouse,
tunnel, well, cargo hold, tank or manhole, or where exhaust gas is likely to accumulate, such
as in a building or at the vicinity of shield. Exhaust gas contains a lot of highly toxic carbon
monoxide which could cause the risk of death, accident or serious illness from gas poisoning.
