INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE
• Keep fire away. Kerosene is extrely flammable. Be sure to select a well-
ventilated place when washing the air cleaner element, fuel tank and fuel
tank filter. It could catch fire.
• To prevent unexpected start of engine, remove the spark plug cap during
inspection and maintenance.
• Do not wash the engine with water. It could cause malfunctions of
devices.
• Inspection times indicated in the table of regular inspection should be
considered only as recommended ones under conditions of general
state of use. State of engine may be deteriorated by the influence of
weeds, dust, or other, depending on the kind of working machines or
environment of use. In such occasions, interrupt the operation, even
while at work, and inspect or clean it at a safe place.
