4. Safety

4.1 Proper intended use

The cover is waterproof and protects your vehicle from the elements, such as rain, snow and dirt. The tarpaulin does not
protect against hail. A soft fleece is applied on the inside, which is gentle on the vehicle paintwork.
The cover is only intended for private use and may only be used on parked vehicles.
Only use the cover as described in these user instructions. Any other use is considered to be improper and can lead to
material damage or even personal injury.
The manufacturer or dealer accepts no liability for damage or injury caused by improper or incorrect use.

4.2 Safety instructions

Warning
Risk of death!
Incorrect attachment of the cover can lead to personal injury.
→ Fasten the cover firmly to your vehicle. A cover that is not properly secured can be blown away by the wind
and therefore lead to accidents.
→ Before each use, check that the retaining straps are not damaged. The cover can be blown away by the
wind, if the retaining straps are damaged.

Risk of injury!
Incorrect attachment of the cover can lead to personal injury.
→ When attaching the cover, ensure that hot vehicle parts, such as the exhaust, have cooled down so that
you do not burn yourself.
Notice
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the cover can lead to damage of the vehicle or the cover.
→ Do not use the cover on a vehicle that has been repainted within the last 4 months, otherwise the paint
may be damaged.
→ Never place the cover over hot areas of the vehicle.
→ Only use the cover on clean vehicles. Dust and dirt under the cover can damage the paint of your vehicle.
→ Only use the tarpaulin on dry vehicles to prevent freezing.
→ Only use the tarpaulin on dry vehicles to avoid freezing. The tarpaulin can be damaged by freezing.
5. Use
If any antennas or attachments protrude from your vehicle, remove them before using the cover.
Unpack the cover and spread it out on a clean and dry surface.
Check that the retaining straps are not damaged.
Locate the sewn-in label with an arrow. This indicates the front section of the cover.
Attach the front section of the cover underneath the front bumper.
Pull the cover over your vehicle.
Pull the 3 straps (front, middle and back) under your under your vehicle and bring them together. Tip: The middle
strap can be thrown under the vehicle with a swing.
Tighten the 3 retaining straps. The middle protruding strap can be stowed in the inside pocket.
6. Cleaning
The cover can be cleaned by hand using lukewarm water and washing up liquid. After washing, allow the cover to dry
thoroughly. Do not dry the cover under direct sunlight.
7. Storage
Do not fold the cover while it is wet or damp. Always make sure that the cover is completely dry before you fold it up for
storage. Store the cover in a dry and dark place.
8. Disposal
The cover and the storage bag can be disposed of with the normal household rubbish.
Dispose of the packaging in separated waste streams. Packing paper and cardboard should go for cardboard recycling,
and plastic film in the collection of recyclable materials.
