Mini flat iron item, two temperatures 0211
Ironing
This mini flat iron enables you to iron material, dolls' clothes, seams on patchworks and other
fabrics very easily. Always pay attention to the temperature of the device. It should never
burn your chosen material. In order to prevent burning from happening, we advise using a
slightly wet cloth underneath the material.
It's as easy as this:
1.) Select the attachment (large or small) that matches best with your chosen material and
affix the attachment to the screw head of the device. Ensure that the fitting is sufficiently
secured, if necessary retighten screw.
2.) Plug the device into an outlet and wait 3-4 minutes until the device has reached its best
working temperature.
3.) Put a slightly wet cloth on top of the material that you want to iron.
4.) For best results: Lightly press device onto a part of the material. Try to avoid ironing
tucking into material.
Iron appliqués onto material
Whether you like to iron fabrics, seams on patchworks or apply artistic/aesthetic appliqué to
your chosen material: it's all made easy with our device! Vliesofix® supports the decoration to
last longer on your material. In order to prevent burning of either the material or the glue from
happening, we advise using a slightly wet cloth underneath the material.
It's as easy as this:
1.) Select the attachment (large or small) that matches best with the appliqué that you want
to apply to your material. Affix the attachment to the screw head of the device. Ensure
that the fitting is sufficiently secured, if necessary retighten screw.
2.) Plug the device into an outlet and wait 3-4 minutes until the device has reached its best
working temperature.
3.) After drawing the pattern on the paper side of the strip of Vliesofix®, cut it out. Put the
appliqué with the rough side onto the left side of the material and iron it onto the material
(app. 3-4 seconds). Do not push the mini flat iron onto the material! Instead press it
lightly onto the material. Repeat this step for the entire pattern – that's how the Vliesofix®
will be attached to the fabric.
4.) Cut out the developed template and detract the paper strip of it.
