- Once installed, start the BS-15 repeller at a volume between 13 and
14. This ensures stress and disturbance to the birds.
- Modify the device configuration and frequently check the status of
the power unit so as to continually disturb the birds.
- Always use a very high volume. If there are populated areas or areas
of continuous presence of people, move the speakers within the
cultivated area or move the speakers so that the sound does not
point towards these areas. It is recommended that you only move
the speakers and do not lower the volume or you will not be able to
achieve good results.
- Make sure the system is not OFF during critical times.
- If you are using more than one BS-15 unit, it is advisable to overlap
the areas covered by the speakers and use different sounds so that
the birds are disturbed even more.
- Keep insects away from the device. Insects may nest in the unit as it
is dry and sheltered. Tie a rag around the pole and sprinkle it with oil
along with an insect repellent. Insects will not cross this barrier.
- Study the reactions of different species of birds with the sounds
loaded on your device to understand what can be more effective and
use them sparingly only during important periods when the threat of
the pest is at its peak.
