Keep a mandatory distance of at least 50 cm to the illuminated surface.
Only operate the light on the stand provided; it must not be attached to the ceiling or to
a post
Before using the appliance, familiarise yourself with its use.
Modifications to the appliance are not permitted for safety reasons. Damage caused by
modifications to the appliance is not covered by warranty.
Use the applicance for the intended purpose only. Improper use of the appliance will void
your warranty.
Damage caused by failure to observe the provisions of these operating instructions are
not covered by warranty; the retailer is not liable for any defects resulting from said fai-
lure.
Do not use the appliance immediately after it has been subjected to temperature
changes. Leave the appliance switched off until it has reached room temperature to pro-
tect it against damage.
The appliance is rated protection class I. For this reason, the appliance must be groun-
ded. Connect the appliance to grounded sockets only that have been installed in line
with general safety regulations by a qualified electrician.
Make sure that the mains voltage does not exceed the voltage stated in the Technical
Data in these operating instructions.
Protect the power cable against crushing and damage. If needed, have the cable replaced
by your authorised STORCH service centre.
If the protective glass is cracked, replace it without delay. If you have any questions on
customer service and/or spare parts orders, please contact STORCH using one of the
above mentioned contact options.
Smoke or odours may occur when you use the appliance for the first time. This is normal
and will discontinue after some time.
Work on the electrical equipment of the machine must be performed by
a qualified electrician, or by a trained person supervised and guided by an
electrician in line with electrical technology rules.
