The electrical power supply/socket to which the appliance is to be

connected must be able to provide the maximum electrical power
required by the appliance. If it cannot do so, arrange for a
qualified electrician to make the necessary modifications.
The electrical specifications correspond to the ones on the rating

label.
Do not use this appliance for functions other than those described in

this booklet.
Do not make modifications of any kind to this appliance.

Certain fundamental rules must be observed when using any

electrical appliance:
- never touch appliances with wet or damp hands;
- never touch appliances while barefoot;
- do not allow the unit to be operated by unsupervised children or
disabled persons.
Should the appliance be dropped or suffer a heavy blow, have it

checked immediately by Vortice.
The appliance must be connected to an efficient earthing system.

Specific warnings
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
•
manufacturer, by a service agent or similar qualified persons in order
to avoid a hazard.
Unplug the appliance during filling and cleaning
•
Do not let the appliance touch any hot surface.
•
To avoid electric shock, do not place the cord, the plug or the
•
appliance into water or other liquids.
Remove the plug from the electricity supply before you move the
•
humidifier, fill water, clean, do maintenance, and when the humidifier
is not in use.
Please make sure there is water in the tank before turning on the
•
humidifier.
Do not let the cord hang over at the edge of a table or counter or touch
•
hot surfaces. Do not place the appliance on an unsteady or cloth-
covered surface.
Do not pour water into the gutter directly.

Do not spray any detergent such as bug or mosquito killer into the fan
•
to prevent damaging the plastic material.
The appliance is for household indoors use only. Do not use at
•
outdoors or for any commercial or industrial purpose.
Please use pure water for cleaning the humidifier instead of any
•
