MANUTENZIONE
CAUTELA – Un filtro aria sporco limita il flusso d'aria al
carburatore, riducendo il rendimento del motore. Se il motore
viene utilizzato in ambienti molto polverosi, il filtro dell'aria va
pulito più di frequente di quanto specificato nel PROGRAMMA DI
MANUTENZIONE.
CAUTELA – Se il motore viene utilizzato senza filtro dell'aria, o
con un filtro dell'aria danneggiato, la sporcizia può entrare nel
motore causandone l'usura precoce. Questo tipo di danno non è
coperto dalla Garanzia del Distributore.
Candela
Candele raccomandate: Torch F7RTC o equivalenti.
Le candele di tipo resistivo sono necessarie per la conformità ai requisiti
EMC. Usare sempre in sostituzione candele di tipo resistivo.
CAUTELA – L'uso di candele non corrette può causare danni al
motore.
1. Staccare la pipetta della candela e togliere la sporcizia dall'area attorno
alla candela stessa.
2. Smontare la candela utilizzando l'apposita chiave.
3. Controllare la candela. Sostituirla se gli elettrodi sono consumati o se
l'isolante è incrinato o scheggiato.
4. Misurare la distanza tra gli elettrodi con lo spessimetro adatto. La distanza
deve essere di 0.7 - 0.8 mm (0.028" - 0.031"). Correggere la distanza, se
necessario, piegando delicatamente l'elettrodo laterale (Fig. 25).
5. Inserire la candela a mano, senza forzare, per evitare di danneggiare i
filetti.
6. Una volta che la candela è in sede, stringerla con l'apposita chiave per
comprimere la rondella.
Se si rimonta la stessa candela, stringere di 1/8 - ¼ di giro dopo che la
candela arriva in fondo alla sede.
Se invece si monta una candela nuova, stringere di ½ giro dopo che la
candela arriva in fondo alla sede.
CAUTELA - Una candela non avvitata a fondo può surriscaldarsi
e danneggiare il motore. Una candela troppo stretta può
danneggiare i filetti nella testa del cilindro.
7. Riattaccare la pipetta della candela.

MAINTENANCE
CAUTION - A dirty air filter will restrict air flow to the carburetor,
reducing engine performance. If you operate the engine in very
dusty areas, clean the air filter more often than specified in the
MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE.
CAUTION - Operating the engine without an air filter, or with
a damaged air filter, will allow dirt to enter the engine, causing
rapid engine wear. This type of damage is not covered by the
Distributor's Limited Warranty.
Spark plug
Recommended spark plugs: Torch F7RTC or other equivalents.
Resistor type spark plug are required for EMC compliance. Always are
resistor type spark plugs for replacement.
CAUTION – An incorrect spark plug can cause engine damage.
1. Disconnect the spark plug cap, and remove any dirt from around the
spark plug area.
2. Remove the spark plug with a spark plug wrench.
3. Inspect the spark plug. Replace it if the electrodes are worn, or if the
insulator is cracked or chipped.
4. Measure the spark plug electrode gap with a suitable gauge. The gap
should be 0.7-0.8 mm (0.028-0.031 in). Correct the gap, if necessary, by
carefully bending the side electrode (Fig.25).
5. Install the spark plug carefully, by hand, to avoid cross-threading.
6. After the spark plug seats, tighten with a spark plug wrench to compress
the washer.
If reinstalling the used spark plug, tighten 1/8 - ¼ turn after the spark plug
seats.
If installing a new spark plug, tighten ½ turn after the spark plug seats.
CAUTION - A loose spark plug can overheat and damage the
engine. Over tightening the spark plug can damage the threads
in the cylinder head.
7. Attach the spark plug cap.

ENTRETIEN
PRUDENCE – Si vous utilisez le moteur sans filtre à air ou bien avec
un filtre à air endommagé, la poussière peut pénétrer dans le moteur
et accélérer son usure. La Garantie du distributeur ne couvre pas ce
type de dommage.
Bougies
Bougies recommandées: Torch F7RTC ou modèles équivalents.
L'utilisation de bougies à résistance est obligatoire, conformément aux
exigences de l'EMC. Remplacez et utilisez toujours des bougies à résistance.
PRUDENCE – L'utilisation de bougies non appropriées peut
endommager le moteur.
1. Détachez le capuchon de la bougie et nettoyez les impuretés du pourtour.
2. Démontez la bougie en utilisant la clé appropriée.
3. Vérifiez la bougie et remplacez-la si les électrodes sont usées ou si la partie
isolante est fêlée ou autrement endommagée.
4. Mesurez l'écartement des électrodes à l'aide d'un calibre. L'écartement doit
être de 0,7 – 0,8 mm (0,028" – 0,031"). Rectifiez l'écartement, si nécessaire, en
pliant délicatement l'électrode latérale (Fig. 25).
5. Insérez la bougie manuellement, sans forcer, pour éviter d'endommager le
filet.
6. Une fois la bougie en place, serrez-la à l'aide d'une clé appropriée pour
comprimer la rondelle.
Si vous remontez la même bougie, vissez-la à fond en la serrant 1/8 - ¼ de tour
En revanche, si vous montez une bougie neuve, vissez-la en la serrant d'un ½
tour.
PRUDENCE - Une bougie non vissée à fond peut surchauffer et
endommager le moteur. Une bougie trop étroite peut endommager
le filet dans la tête du cylindre.
7. Replacez le capuchon de la bougie.
