3. TO ReDUCe THe RISK OF FIRe, eLeCTRIC SHOCK, OR InJURY TO PeRSOnS
- OBSeRVe THe FOLLOWIng:
a. Use this unit only in the manner intended by the manufacturer. If you
have questions, contact the factory.
b.
Before servicing or cleaning, unplug power cord or switch power
off at service panel and lock service panel to prevent fan from being
switched on accidentally. When the service disconnecting means
cannot be locked, securely fasten a prominent warning device, such
as a tag, to the service panel.
c. Installation work and electrical wiring must be done by qualified
person(s) in accordance with all applicable codes and standards,
including fire-rated construction.
d. When cutting or drilling into wall or ceiling, do not damage electrical
wires or other hidden utilities.
e. Ducted fans must always be vented to the outdoors.
f.
The installation must comply with local electrical and mechanical
building codes, and must be inspected and accepted by local
authorities having jurisdiction.
4. TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK OR INJURY TO
PERSONS, OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING:
a. Your clothes dryer installation incorporates a dryer exhaust power
ventilator (DEDPV) which may be in a different location than your
dryer, such as in an attic, crawl space or basement.
b. Your clothes dryer depends on the DEDPV for its safe and efficient
operations. Operating your dryer without a functional DEDPV will
result in inefficient dryer operation, excess energy consumption and
a possible fire hazard. See warning on the alarm notification panel.
c. The notification/annunciator panel shall be permanently installed
within the space in which the clothes dryer is installed. In the case
of a dryer installed in an alcove provided with a door or doors the
notification/annunciator panel shall be installed within the alcove or
be installed immediately adjacent to the doors of the alcove. The
notification/annunciator panel shall be located where it will be readily
visible after the dryer is installed without having to open any doors
other than those necessary to access the dryer.

The DBF4XLT-705 is provided with a 120VAC power cord.

a. N'utilisez ce dispositif que de la manière préconisée par le fabricant.

b. Avant tout entretien ou nettoyage, coupez le courant au tableau
électrique et verrouillez ce dernier pour empêcher l'activation
accidentelle du ventilateur. Quand le système de coupure de courant
ne peut être verrouillé, attachez solidement sur le tableau électrique,
un dispositif de signalisation bien en vue, tel qu'une étiquette.
c. Les travaux d'installation et de branchement électrique doivent être
faits par un personnel qualifié et conformément aux dispositions
de tous les codes et normes de construction en vigueur, y compris
celles de prévention des incendies.
d. Lors du perçage ou du découpage d'un mur ou d'un plafond, prenez
garde de ne pas endommager les fils électriques ou autres conduits
s'y trouvant dissimulés.
e. Les ventilateurs installés sur les conduits doivent toujours être
ventilés vers l'extérieur.
f.
L'installation doit être en conformité avec les codes électrique et
mécanique du bâtiment et doit être inspecté et accepté par les
autorités ayant juridiction.
4. AVERTISSEMENTS POUR RÉDUIRE LES RISQUES D'INCENDIE, DE
DECHARGE ELECTRIQUE OU RISQUE DE BLESSURES. SUIVEZ LES
CONSEILS SUIVANTS:
a. Votre sécheuse est équipée d'un ventilateur auxiliaire qui peut être
installé loin de la sécheuse, comme dans un grenier, un vide sanitaire
ou un sous-sol.
b. Le ventilateur auxiliaire est essentiel au fontionnement sécuritaire
de la sécheuse. Désactiver ce ventilateur nuira au fonctionnement
de la sécheuse, et entrainera un augmentation de la consommation
d'électricité et possiblement un risque d'incendie. Lire la mise en
garde sur le panneau d'indication d'alarme.
c. Le panneau d'alarme doit être installé de façon permanente dans
l'espece ou se trouve la sécheuse. Si la sécheuse est installée
dans une alcôve fermée par une porte, le panneau d'alarme doit
être installé dans l'alcôve ou à proximité immédiate de la porte de
l'alcôve. Le panneau d'alarme doit être visible une fois la sécheuse
installée sans avoir à ouvrir une porte autre que celle donnant accès
à la sécheuse.
5. Le DBF4XLT est fourni avec un cordon électrique de 120VAC.
