Installing and gluing the waterproof cable box:
1. Position the waterproof cable box on the roof at the appropriate place and mark the location with a pencil.
Now remove the waterproof cable box.
2. In the center of this mark, drill a hole, of the right dimension, to enable the passage of the cables without
having to bend them. You must be able to recover the entire hole with the waterproof cable box.
3. Smoothen the hole to avoid damaging the cables.
4. Thread the cables through the hole (towards the inside the vehicle) and place the waterproof cable box
on the roof making sure the cables are nor stuck nor bent.
5. Sand the surface you are going to glue (roof, under the waterproof cable box) with sandpaper (medium
grain).
6. Clean each surface with a thinner.
7. Spread Sika-Aktivator on the sanded surface. Leave to dry for 15 to 20 minutes.
8. Spread plenty of glue on the underneath frame of the waterproof cable box with Sikaflex
slightly on it. Layer of glue: ± 3 mm.
It is strictly forbidden to fill the entire waterproof cable box with glue !
9. To accelerate the polymerization, pulverize a little water on the visible parts of the glue. Leave to dry
for 24 hours.

Bending angle (maximum curvature) for Sunpower Alden 125W Black Flex:
When installed, the curvature of the panel should not exceed a maximum
arch height of 55mm or the equivalent of a circle with a radius of 3
