Notes on Use

• If you wish to dry specific sections of your hair only, attach
the styling nozzle. That will concentrate the air flow.
• In order to remove the nozzle, let the appliance cool
down. You can speed up that process by pressing the
button for approx. ½ minute during operation. You may
then simply remove the nozzle.
Electrical Connection
1. Before inserting the plug into the socket, make sure that
the mains voltage to be used matches that of the appli-
ance. You can find this information on the nameplate.
2. Connect the appliance to a properly installed earthed
socket.

Use

1. Turn the appliance on with the bottom switch on the
handle.
2. Select an air stream level on the handle (bottom switch):
Position 0:
off
Position I:
gentle stream of air
Position II:
strong stream of air
3. Setting the Temperature level (top switch):
Position :
low temperature
Position
:
Environmentally friendly energy
saving setting, medium temperature
for gentle drying and shaping
Position :
high temperature for rapid drying
WARNING:
• Before cleaning remove the mains lead from the socked.
• Under no circumstances should you immerse the appliance in wa-
ter for cleaning purposes. Otherwise this might result in an electric
shock or fire.
CAUTION:
• Do not use a wire brush or any abrasive items.
• Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents.
Clean the housing with a soft, dry cloth without additives.
Air Intake Grill
Please clean the grill on the air intake side of the hairdryer
regularly in order to avoid excessive temperatures as a result
of heat accumulation.
1. Hold the intake grille on the markings and press in gently
on the markings. Then pull off the grille towards the rear.

COOL (Cold Air)
With this switch you can stop the heating process.
Hold the button down in this position according to the desired
interval length. When the button is released it returned auto-
matically to the initial position.
Switch-off
Set the bottom switch to "0" after use and disconnect from
the mains.
Storage
• Leave the appliance to cool down before putting it away!
• Hang the appliance up by the suspension eye.
Mains Cable
• The mains cable should only be wound up loosely.
• Never tie the cable tightly round the appliance, as over
time this may result in the cable breaking.
• Check the mains cable regularly for damage.

Cleaning

2. Remove any dirt that is present.
3. If necessary, a fine brush can be used.
4. Close the grille by locking it into place.
