Select SOIL LEVEL
Once you select a cycle, select the soil level by turning the
Soil Level knob to the desired setting.

Select WASH TEMPERATURE
After selecting the load size, select the Wash Temperature by
turning knob to desired temperature. All rinses are tap cold.
NOTE: Always read and follow fabric care label instructions
to avoid damage to your garments.
Wash Temp
Hot
Some cold water is added
to save energy. This may be
cooler than your hot water
heater setting.
Warm
Some cold water may be
added, so this will be cooler
than what your previous washer
provided.
Cool Lights
Warm water is added to assist
in soil removal and to help
dissolve detergents. Cool is
slightly warmer than cold.
Cool Darks
Warm water is added to assist
in soil removal and to help
dissolve detergents. Cool is
slightly warmer than cold.
Cold
Warm water may be added
to assist in soil removal and to
help dissolve detergents.

Select options (on some models)
Select the desired cycle options, turn the knob to desired setting.

Press START/PAUSE/Unlock Lid
to begin wash cycle
Press the START/PAUSE/Unlock Lid button to start the wash
cycle. When the cycle has finished, the Cycle Complete
status light will light. Promptly remove garments after cycle
has completed to avoid odor, reduce wrinkling, and rusting of
metal hooks, zippers, and snaps.
Adding garment(s)
During the Fill/Sensing phase, open lid and add 1 or 2 missed
garments. Then close lid and press START/Pause to restart
the cycle. If you need to open the lid to add a garment after
this point, you must press START/Pause and wait for the lid to
unlock. This may take several minutes if the load was spinning
at a high speed. You may hear a winding sound as the basket
slows down. Then add garment, close lid, and press START/
Pause again to resume the cycle.
NOTES:
Washer will fill with the lid open.

If your washer does not have a soak option, then pause

your washer to soak. When you are done soaking then press
Start/Pause button to bring washer out of Pause.
IMPORTANT: If lid is left open for more than 10 minutes, the
water will pump out automatically.
