The 'RETURN' socket is for connection to the output of effects units. It has an input sensitivity of -20dBu, therefore the auxiliary loop
can be used with floor type battery powered effects pedals or 19" rack type studio effects units.
If the auxiliary circuit is not used as an effects loop the 'RETURN' socket can also be used as an extra input to the channel mixing
stage. Obviously it does not have its own level control or e.q. but an extra channel may sometimes be useful.
Line out
This is a line level output of the mixed signal of all four channels plus auxiliary. This is independent of the 'MASTER' control.
Mains fuse / IEC socket
In the event of having to replace the mains fuse always use the same rating and type as marked on the unit's rear panel. Using one of
higher rating will invalidate the guarantee.
If after replacement the mains fuse should blow a second time, immediately refer the unit to a TRACE ELLIOT approved service
engineer for checking.
The IEC socket is for connection to universally used IEC mains leads.
Power on/off switch
This obviously is for switching on or off the unit. Before switching on check that the mains voltage in your area is the same that
stated on the rear panel.
The green light inside the switch should be lit when the unit is on.
