3 Applications
The MPA-102 is a microphone preamplifier in low-noise
semiconductor technology. It is designed for use on
stage, in recording studios and for home recording and
multimedia applications. The microphone preamplifier
has a balanced XLR microphone input and a servo-
balanced XLR line output. In addition, the amplified
microphone signal can be picked off at a stereo line
output or added to a fed-through stereo line signal.
4 Connecting the Unit
Switch off the microphone preamplifier before making
or changing any connections to other units.
1) The microphone preamplifier is supplied with power
either via the AC/AC adaptor provided or, for mobile
use of the unit, via four 9 V batteries. When it is sup-
plied with power via the AC/AC adaptor, the batter-
ies inserted will be disconnected.
– For power supply via the AC /AC adaptor, connect
the adaptor to the jack (9).
