The number of portions are shown for milk,
coffee and potatoes instead of the weight
when the WEIGHT/CLOCK button is pressed.
For programmes 7–9 the microwave oven
pauses during the defrosting so that the
food can be turned over for more uniform
defrosting. Press START/QUICK START to
continue defrosting.
The results are affected by several factors,
such as voltage fluctuations, the shape and
size of the food, personal taste, and how
the food is placed in the oven. Adjust the
cooking time if the results are not
satisfactory.
Childlock
Use the childlock so that children cannot use the

oven without adult supervision. The childlock
symbol is shown on the display when the child-
lock is activated and it is not possible to start the
oven.
1.
To activate the childlock, press the PAUSE/
CANCEL button for 3 seconds until an audio
prompt is given and the lock symbol is
shown.
2.
To deactivate the childlock, press the
PAUSE/CANCEL button for 3 seconds until
an audio prompt is given and the lock
symbol on the display goes off.
MAINTENANCE
NOTE:
Switch off the microwave oven and pull out the
plug before cleaning.
Keep the inside of the oven clean. Wipe off
any splashing and liquid with a damp cloth.
Use a mild detergent if the microwave oven
is very dirty. Avoid using strong or abrasive
detergents that can produce stains and
streaks, or dull the surface of the door.
Clean the outside of the microwave oven
with a damp cloth. Do not allow water to
get into the ventilation openings, this can
damage the microwave oven.
Wipe both sides of the door and window,
the door seals and adjacent parts at regular
intervals with a damp cloth to remove
stains and splashing. Do not use abrasive
detergents.
Clean the control panel with a lightly
moistened cloth. Leave the door open
when cleaning the control panel, to prevent
starting the microwave oven by mistake.
Wipe with a soft cloth if condensation
forms on the inside, or around the edge of
the door. Condensation can develop when
the microwave oven is used in humid
conditions. This is not unusual.
