In the case of more than one Datalogger (N) and only one DownLoad Module, there are two possibilities:
order the required number (N-1) of IR Units separately;
order 'N' telephone cables and 'N-1' "T" connectors, as per the diagram below:

Installation of the DownLoad Module

Place the batteries in the DownLoad Module battery compartment, observing the polarity indicated.
The transformer can be used as an alternative to the batteries by connecting it to the socket on the side of the
DownLoad Module.
If the transformer and batteries are used together, the power is supplied by the transformer, and the batteries
are neither damaged nor discharged.
Connection between Module and Datalogger
No electrical connection is required for communication between a Datalogger and the DownLoad Module, as
it uses an infra-red beam. The Module's infra-red transmitter covers a maximum distance of 2 metres with an
angle of 60 degrees.
Important: on the Datalogger you must set a serial address different from 0 (default value).

Connection between DownLoad Module and PC

Use the Modem-PC cable to connect the 25-pin connector (female) of the DownLoad Module to the RS232
serial port (male) of the PC.
