6. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
6.1 OVERVIEW

6.2 USE
6.2.1 CHARGING THE BATTERY
Make sure that the Solar camping lantern is switched off (see Section 6.2.3). Place the Solar camping lantern in its packaging in sunlight, with its
solar panel facing upwards (position 2 in the overview). Depending on the available sunlight, charging can take up to 7 hours. When the red charge
control light (position 5 in the overview) illuminates, the Solar camping lantern is ready to use.
6.2.2 STRETCHING AND COLLAPSING
Stretching: Undo the popper fastenings on the packing strap (position 1 in the overview). Pull the valve out (position 6 in the overview) and
remove the plug. Press the valve gently together on both sides while you stretch the fluorescent screen. Once the fluorescent screen is full, release
the valve and close it again using the plug. Carefully press the valve back into the bottom of the fluorescent screen.
Collapsing: Pull the valve out and remove the plug. Press the valve gently together on both sides. Slowly squeeze the solar panel and bottom
together in order to remove any air left inside the Solar camping lantern. Then close the valve using the plug and carefully press it back into the
bottom of the fluorescent screen. Place the strap around the Solar camping lantern and close it using the snap fasteners.
6.2.3 LIGHT FUNCTIONS
By pressing the switch (position 4 in the overview), you can connect the following light functions in series: ON (90 lm) – Dim (20 lm) – Flash - OFF.
7. MAINTENANCE AND CARE
7.1 MAINTENANCE
The Solar camping lantern does not need to be maintained with proper use of the product.
7.2 CARE
Clean the Solar camping lantern using a soft cloth and water. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or solvents.
8. NOTES REGARDING ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Do not dispose of electrical devices alongside the household waste! Electrical and electronic scrap devices be collected separately
and disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner for recycling. Please contact your community or city administration
regarding disposal options for electrical and electronic scrap.
