• Do not go over the MAX. indication of the tank (10) to avoid overflowing.
• Replace the lid.
• Plug the iron into the mains. The indicators (1) placed in both sides of the handle will light on.
• Once the pilot lights (1) go off, turn the steam knob (5) to place it in the minimum steam position ( )
or to the maximum steam indication (
SUPER STEAM
• The temperature selector (9) must always be set to its maximum position (max).
• With the index finger, press and release the button (4). Repeat this operation at intervals between each
time you press the button.
• If you wish to obtain a greater super-steam set the steam control knob (5) to the off ( ) position.
VERTICAL IRONING
• It allows you to remove creases from the garments without them having to be lying on the ironing
board: jackets and coats may be pressed on their hangers; as may be hanging curtains and such.
• Close the adjustable steam knob (5) and place the temperature selector to the (max). position.
• Bring the iron close to the garment in a vertical position and press the steam button (4).
SPRAY IRONING
• To obtain a spray, the temperature selector (9) position is unimportant.
• Press the spray button (3). In case no water should come out, press the button again.
DRY IRONING
• If there is water in the tank, set the adjustable steam knob (5) to the off position ( ).
• Plug the iron into the mains and place the selector (9) in the desired temperature for each fabric:
- SINTHETIC FIBRES: Low temperature (•)
- SILK – WOOL: Medium temperature (••)
- COTTON – LINEN: High temperature (••• MAX)
AUTO-CLEANING SYSTEM
• Set the adjustable steam knob (5) to the off position ( ).
• Pour water into the tank.
• Set the temperature selector (9) to MAX position and plug the iron to the mains.
• As soon as the indicator lights (1) are off, place the iron in a horizontal position on a plate or suitable
container in the sink and remain pressed the auto-cleaning (8) button. The steam and drops of water
will begin to flow from the orifices in the base of the iron draining the dirt and particles.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
• Before you proceed to cleaning the appliance ensure the appliance is unplugged from the mains and
let the appliance to cool.
• Once the appliance is cool, you can clean with a dampened cloth and if it is necessary you can clean with
a non-abrasive cleaning liquid.
• The exterior parts of the iron may be cleaned with a slightly dampened cloth.
• Do not use abrasive or chemical products, metallic scourers, which may deteriorate the surfaces of the
appliance.
• To store the iron, ensure there is no water left in the tank, set the steam control to the off position and
always store in a vertical position.
ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
• Dispose the appliance according to the local garbage regulations.
• Never throw it away to the rubbish. So you will help to the improvement of the environment.
