Cleaning

NOTE!
RISK OF DAMAGE!
Improper handling of the device can result in damage to the vacuum cleaner itself. Never immerse the
device in water to clean and do not clean with a steam cleaner.
Ensure that no liquids get inside the cleaning unit. Ensure that all parts, especially the filters, are comple-
tely dry before reassembling the device after cleaning. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, brushes
with metal or nylon bristles orsharp or metallic cleaning tools such as knives, hard spatulas and the like.
1. Turn off the hand-held vacuum cleaner.
2. To clean the dust container, you can remove it from the hand-held unit.
To do this, press the release button on the bottom of the handset (g).
Tilt the dust container away from the handset and remove it (fig. I).
Clean the dust container with a brush or damp cloth.
To replace the dust container, begin by connecting the upper front part of the dust container to the
handset, then push it towards the handset and click it into place.
3. Cyclone and pre-motor filters can be tapped out or cleaned under running water if necessary.
4. Remove the HEPA filter for cleaning.
5. Clean brush roller.
To clean the king brush, loosen the small screw on the bottom of the housing with a coin or a suitable
screwdriver and then remove the small cover. For the UV light brush, remove the cover on the bottom.
Remove the brush roller (fig. L) and clean it under running water if necessary.
When reinserting it, ensure that it is correctly positioned.
Because of the integrated motor, the brush housing may only be cleaned with a slightly moistened
cloth or a soft brush. Never hold it under running water.
6. Leave all components to dry completely before reassembling.
