MAINTENANCE-FREE LEAD BATTERY
USER MANUAL FOR MAINTENANCE-FREE LEAD BATTERIES:
• The operating temperature of the battery is around 15°C ~ 50°C. To ensure a
long lifespan, please keep the battery in temperatures of around 5°C ~ 35°C.
The optimum temperature is around 20°C ~ 25°C. When the battery tempera-
ture falls under -15°C, an irreparable chemical process will occur that prevents
the battery from any further charging. Charging the battery at high tempera-
tures will increase battery capacity, but will also affect its lifespan. Charging
the battery at low temperatures will decrease the battery capacity, but also
lengthen its lifespan.
• When the battery is exhausted and not recharged within 72 hours, it'll become
irreversibly damaged and must then be replaced.
• The battery life cycle (number of times the battery is charged and discharged)
depends on the strain on the battery, especially the degree of recharging and
the degree of discharging. During normal use, the battery may be discharged
for several hours. At 25°C, lead batteries may be charged and discharged
150 ~ 200 times.
• Wear and tear of the battery is indicated by a decreasing capacity, internal
short circuits, deformation of the enclosure, corrosion of the battery poles and
a decrease in the open terminal voltage.
LEAD BATTERY CHARACTERISTICS:
• The battery has no memory effect, which means it can be recharged at any
time, also when the battery is not fully discharged.
• Performance and capacity will change according to atmospheric conditions
regarding environmental temperature and humidity (the optimum operation
temperature is around 20°C ~ 25°C).
• The battery discharges itself, also when it's not being used. This is normal. To
keep the battery in good shape, it must be charged each month, also when not
being used.
• Under normal circumstances, the battery has a lifespan of approximately a year.
• When the battery reaches the end of its lifespan, possible indications are:
decrease in capacity, internal short circuit, deformation of the enclosure, corro-
sion of the battery poles and a decrease in the open terminal voltage.
PRECAUTIONS FOR USERS:
• For the first time, please charge the battery for at least 10 hours.
• To guarantee the performance and capacity of the battery, the battery must be
fully charged after 3 months of storage.
• To make full use of the battery capacity, the battery must be properly charged
for use.
• The normal lifespan of the battery is 1 year. It's recommended to replace the
battery each year, please order it via service +31(0)736411355.
• The load on the battery is in direct proportion to the discharge time of the bat-
tery; the higher the load, the shorter the discharge time of the battery.
